My new place!
Vegan lovelies, what are you go-to fave products?!?!?
So we all have our favorite products we buy all the time and can't live without. To the other vegan ladies on here, what are your faves? Where do you shop and where do you go online? I'm dying to try the Dr. Cow vegan line of artisan cheeses.

Florida Vacation Ideas?
Does anyone have any tips for me? I'm currently planning a vacation for the month of May, for Florida. We're flying into Orlando and renting a car..so anywhere in FL is game. We want to definitely target Orlando, Tampa/St Pete's and somewhere on the coast. Please, anyone who has any ideas on good hotels or venues, please share! The last time I vacationed in FL I was a 12 year old and my mom planned the whole thing. I love Destin but what's the best beach? Any help would be an absolute lifesaver. Thank you!
Snow!
Just say no to resolutions!
So society dictates that we as individuals make resolutions as the new year unfolds. This sets up ridiculous amounts of pressure, unrealistic expectations, and stress. Just say no to making a resolution and instead focus on just being happy day to day. No pressure. What does being happy mean to you? Trying to get more sleep, getting closer to family, eating better, moving more, taking a college course, reading that book, paying off bills....sure. Just pick a small thing, say, eating more veggies. That's not a ridiculous thing to do, and you will find that more than manageable. So you start eating more veggies and you realize that you CAN do things to improve your quality of life and happiness, and that's a real self-esteem boost.
All I'm saying is don't go insane with some totally unattainable goals for the new year. Just focus on the small things and you'll notice that you are happier. Cheers and here's to the best year yet!

Ok, fully pimped out wedding ring!
Interesting appetizer at Sushisamba this past weekend...adventures in restaurants!
I was in Vegas this weekend and the group I was with wanted some food, so we sauntered over to sushisamba at the Venetian. It's a cool mix of brazilian and sushi...anyways, the server sent us a plate of little tiny crabs, with eyes and all, and we were expected to just chomp the whole thing like a chicken nugget. I love sushi but this seemed kind of scary but I did it anyway, I picked it up with my chopsticks and wolfed that bad boy down. Despite the unmistakable taste and texture of bone..it was like a crab nugget. I'd get them again. I just wanted to regale you of my new and adventurous restaurant experience!
What's the weirdest thing you've eaten at a restaurant recently? I used to have a boyfriend who'd eat whole baby squids at the sushi bar, tentacles and all.. eew.
The pic below is similar to what I ate, only mine was not tempura.
